July 2010 - Technical Kit
Upgrade
Catering for reprographic,
rostrum and video
requirements.
To help give an 'edge' to work produced, a
sophisticated copy camera setup has been installed. This
allows for extremely high quality copy and other repro work,
as well as giving rostrum video facilities.
July 2010 - Kit
Upgrade
Catering for photographic print and publication
requirements.
For many years now, digital cameras have
continued to improve considerably with increases in
production numbers to meet demand. As a result the
modern-day digital camera is now every bit as good as the
traditional film counterpart, but without the extremely high
cost.
Now Jay Fine Art has been upgrade to the
point where most photographic print and all publication
requirements can be met.
With existing equipment retained as
spare/second/emergency kit, the moves sees a jump in quality
of over 2.5x times the current capability.
Next stop - Hasselblad Digital. (But that is
a few years away!!)
June 2010 - New Studio
A new home studio has been created for winter shoots.
With the warmth of summer soon to be a
distant memory away,
thoughts turn to how to exploit the Northern Light flooding
(?) into the room. The plan is to mix formal and casual
portraits with some glamour and a lot of fine art. Key to
this will be the introduction of new lighting and the
'acquisition' of a chez-lounge from daughter Angela.
